After my graduation I had the opportunity to stay at the TUDelft to start my professional career. As a User Centered Designer I joined the Reinvent the Toilet project, a sanitation initiative of the Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation. The WASH experience I gained led to a consultancy for SNV Mozambique, wherein I trained a team in design research on rural sanitation needs.

Back in the Netherlands, I joined User Intelligence, a customer experience consultancy. With projects for a variety of clients I got introduced to the private sector, while advising on and designing their digital landscape. The combination of the digital world and the development sector is what brought me to Akvo. Akvo develops digital products to make the aid sector more transparent and effective.
